Dali Chen's series of works utilizes a hybrid medium of rice paper and acrylic, capturing and articulating the artist's introspective exploration of cosmic principles through the practice of meditation. This body of work serves as a visual and conceptual documentation of the artist's engagement with universal order and metaphysical inquiry.
The majority of the works in this series were produced during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period characterized by widespread instability, fear, and stringent isolation measures in the city where the artist was based. Consequently, these works are imbued with a heightened sense of hope and positive manifestation, serving as a testament to the artist's resilience and her contemplative engagement with the socio-political and emotional turbulence of the era. Through this body of work, the artist channels a transformative energy, offering a meditative reflection on collective adversity and the pursuit of inner peace.
CHENGHE FENG
The works of Chenghe Feng predominantly utilize the medium of oil painting to articulate the sublime landscapes he observes during his life drawing excursions in nature.
